With effect from Monday, 1 January 2018, the National Futures Association (NFA) will be increasing their assessment fee from $0.01 to $0.02 per side for U.S. futures and options contracts, in order to continue funding their operations without compromising the quality of their regulatory programs.
As the increase in assessment fee will apply to U.S. exchanges like CBOE, CME Group and ICE Futures U.S., customers trading on these exchanges will notice a $0.01 increase per side in their commission fees.
